    The crude acetylene gas produced by the generator first enters the first cleaning tower and comes into contact with low concentration sodium hypochlorite, and then enters the second cleaning tower and comes into contact with high concentration sodium hypochlorite to remove impurities such as phosphine and hydrogen sulfide in the acetylene gas. After that, it enters the neutralization tower and uses sodium hydroxide solution to remove acid mist. Finally, the acetylene gas that meets the standard is discharged from the top of the neutralization tower and sent to the gas holder or compression process. After preparing the sodium hypochlorite solution, it is first sent to the secondary cleaning tower for use, and then sent to the primary cleaning tower for use after the concentration is reduced. Each tower is operated using a circulating pump for circulation.
        
    2、 Characteristics and advantages of sodium hypochlorite spray purification system
    This acetylene purification system is currently the mainstream equipment in acetylene production processes, and compared with traditional concentrated sulfuric acid purification systems, it has the following advantages:
    1. Low working temperature, low pressure throughout the entire process, and high safety.
    2. It can achieve continuous automatic replenishment of purified liquid and automatic discharge of residual liquid, meeting the requirements of continuous operation.
    3. The concentration of sodium hypochlorite solution after use is extremely low, with a pH value close to 7, which can be reused and is clean and environmentally friendly.
    4. Sodium hypochlorite solution is inexpensive and has low purification costs.
    5. The purified and neutralized acetylene gas does not contain acidic or alkaline components, which does not affect the service life of the compressor.
